    First off, as soon as you walk in the vibes from staff are immaculate. Offered amazing recommendations and started the morning of my birthday in such a wonderful way. Unfortunately I did not get anyone's name but they were great. I got the birthday cake donut and it was fantastic. I usually do not like frosting but this frosting was just right. Will definitely come back my next time visiting San Diego

    Donut Bar is hands down the best donut shop in San Diego. Everything was so good and we understand why Santiago has so many awards! He doesn't only make amazing donuts but is also a really awesome guy. The rest of his staff was also super friendly and helpful. Donut Bar recently moved to a new location in Little Italy and it's interactive! The new shop location features black and white walls that come alive with your phone with a new Augmented Realty ( AR ) feature they have put all around their store, boxes, and more! Scan the QR codes to bring the colors and art to life! You can see Petco Park in full color with baseballs flying, airplanes taking off over the city, and more! It's a cool new immersive experience you don't want to miss. @iamchefsantiago makes the same amazing donuts at the new location, like the classic glazed or award winning Big Poppa Tart, but have added more donut flavors, pastries, and coffees with their larger kitchen! You also have to check out their extra roof top space with a view of the city - perfect for hosting an event or party! It's the Gold Standard of Donut Shops!

    Grandkids finally got to go to the famous Donut Bar! We enjoyed walking through the lobby of the new building and playing on the interactive light sculpture before entering the donut bar. The kids were so excited to choose their special Comic con donuts. They decided on Batman and Wonder Woman, giant special edition donuts with icing and sprinkles and huge edible emblems. Chris was there to welcome the kids and give them a high five. And they got the special "winged donut " logo sticker so they were very happy. Donuts were huge and enough for a family to share! Thanks for the fun outing Donut Bar!!
